How this site works
Ayahuasca Retreats in Peru is an independent comparison site. We are not a retreat operator, not a booking agent, and not a marketing arm for any center. This page spells out what that means in practice.
No center pays us
There are no affiliate links to any retreat center on this site. No center pays for placement, no center pays a commission, and no center can pay to change what its profile says. That includes AyaSelva, the center we recommend: it does not compensate us in any form and has no referral arrangement with us. The recommendation is our editorial opinion, grounded in firsthand accounts from people our team knows personally and in our own research. If any commercial relationship with any center ever begins, this page will disclose it the same day, including the material-connection disclosure US law would then require.
Where the comparison data comes from
Prices, programs, screening claims and review figures come from each center's own website, third-party review platforms, public Reddit threads and primary sources, each attributed where shown. Ratings displayed on this site are always the center's own third-party figures, never scores we made up. Where we could not verify something, the site says so rather than guessing, and documented warnings stay on the record with their sources.
What happens to what you send us
The forms on this site ask for a name, a phone or WhatsApp number, and your question. Submissions are delivered by our form provider to our team mailbox, and that is where they stay. We use your details for exactly one thing: replying to you. No newsletter, no marketing list, no selling or sharing of your data. If you ask us to connect you with a center, we do that only because you asked. Details on cookies and analytics are in the privacy policy.
The medical part, plainly
Ayahuasca has real medical risks. Its harmala alkaloids are MAO inhibitors, and combining the brew with SSRI antidepressants and certain other medications can be dangerous; some health histories are standing contraindications. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and we will never suggest changing or stopping a medication, which is a decision for you and your doctor alone. Read the safety and screening guide, talk to your doctor, and expect any center worth choosing to screen your health history before taking your money.
